Submissions will only be accepted into cycles in which both the category of qualification and routes of the aligned
occupational
standards are indicated as in scope for approval. Submissions into this category must cover outcomes found in published
occupational
standards at level 3.

This route review has provided an opportunity to take a closer look at the importance of engineering and manufacturing occupations within the UK economy and ensure that the

standards which apprenticeships, T Levels and higher technical qualifications (HTQs) are based on provide the sector with the right skills and growth for the future. As route panel chairs, we have been able to see the positive impact that the apprenticeship programme has had on the sector and the wider economy.
